Meet Eastside Managing Broker Bob Kelly at eXp Realty
Dated: October 9 2020
I've been an Eastside resident since childhood (1967) and Eastside homeowner since 1986. That's the same year I married for life to Elizabeth Kelly (Wang Jen-Yee from Taiwan), a high school acquaintance. We had twins in 1994 and and surprise baby in 2003. Elizabeth works in Eldercare. One twin teaches English in China. The other twin works at Bellevue College. The baby now studies art and computer animation at the DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond.
After a 25 year technology career at a few software startups, I moved over to real estate in 2010 after experience at acquiring and managing our own rental properties, including a vacation rental out on the Washington coast. I've worked with a variety of clients: flippers, investors, first time home buyers, people relocating from out of state, vacation home buyers, and sellers.
You can depend on my experience in many ways:
- Local knowledge of traffic, schools, neighborhoods, employment, and more.
- Avoiding problem properties with expensive repairs.
- Tricks of negotiation from the buyer or seller side.
- How to craft the winning offer in a multiple offer situation.
- How to get the most money out of your sale.
- Bringing in other professionals to help complete your transaction: mortgage broker, inspector, contractor, and escrow.
"Very experienced. Thoughtful of you. Great negotiation strategy. Nice person. Happy to work with him. Knows the area very well. I have recommended Bob to all my friends who is interested in purchasing." --- Wei bought in University Place
"I couldn't have been more pleased with a Realtor experience. Bob provided excellent guidance from pre-listing to final negotiations! I was especially impressed on his commitment and follow through." --- Bobbi sold in Maple Valley
"I have a good experience to work with Bob. All is smooth and quick. Kindly and full of enthusiasm. Very helpful for my house purchasing." --- Sundy bought in Buckley
1. New Ways to Sell a Property (Houses, Condos, or Land)
Get cash offers for a property (land too) from institutional buyers on our Express Offers platform - exclusive to eXp Realty. You choose the closing date. No repairs necessary.
Alternately, inquire with your eXp agent about bringing in Curbio. Curbio will act as the general contractor to make repairs and improvements to your home. Curbio then takes its payment at closing. This lets you get top dollar from a public sale on the NWMLS without coming up with money up front.
